TREASURES OF A SLAVER'S KINGDOM requires a z-machine interpreter to play. These are simple programs, usually freeware, available for almost any computer platform you can imagine.

=== WINDOWS

If you're a WINDOWS user, I recommend Windows Frotz or Gargoyle. Windows Frotz is ideal for beginners; things like font, color, and margin-width choices may be adjusted using standard point-and-click methods. Gargoyle requires more tech-savvy to customize, but it's very pretty.

=== MACINTOSH

If you're a MACINTOSH user, the most popular choice is probably Spatterlight:

=== OTHER PLATFORMS

If you use something else (Linux, Palm, Nintendo DS, even several kinds of phone), there's still an interpreter out there for you! For starters, check out the Frotz directory at the IF archive:

or the Frotz homepage:

If any of these links are dead, just search for "Frotz" or "Z-Machine Interpreter" in your favorite search engine, or use the links at the TREASURES OF A SLAVER'S KINGDOM webpage at the Cumberland Games site.
